Experience God's Power

If I ask:
“How can I use what I’ve got?” rather than
“How can I be what I’m not?”

I have less than I need if “what I’ve got” doesn’t include the Giver.

We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us” (2 Cor. 4:7 NIV). "What I’ve got” is more than just me. As Paul said, “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me” (1 Cor. 15:10).

We challenge students to fully trust God. Using spiritual gifts without the Giver lacks power. Hard work is not enough. We need help only God can give. He makes things happen.

He gives us words and listeners understanding.
We share promises he fulfills.
We work; he accomplishes - “all that we have accomplished you have done for us” (Isa. 26:12).

With only our strength we wear out and give in because we don’t look up. Learning to work with God gives us power, gives us hope, and renews us.

What students are saying:

  • “I am able to comprehend more of the presence of Christ.”
  • “I am more open to the Holy Spirit.”
  • “Edified me and re-birthed my hopes for church.”
  • “Reconnected me with a spiritual passion for the work we are called to.”
  • “My horizons were broadened, my thinking enhanced, and my ministry arsenal fortified.”

Learn with us to fully trust God. Experience God’s power in your ministry.
